Nestled in our own Owings Mills backyard is 1,900 acres of serpentinerock formations, and the home of an abandoned chrome mine. There are 7miles of marked trails, taking you through small streams, rare vegetationand minerals. To best understand the area, stop at the Visitor Centerbefore hiking. Because of the fragile nature of the area, cyclists areprohibited.
It is on Deer Park Road near Wards Chapel Road and Berrysman Lane.
