Dam No 5 does not have a launching ramp. Portage to either side, the left is preferred. The trip is 7 miles, 2 hours. The take-out is the Williamsport River Front Park. Take I-70 to I-81, to US 11, Williamsport, to East Potomac St., left on Conococheague St., right on West Salisbury, to River Front Rd.
